Synopsis
1977, in a small village in Ticino: Mario, aged 16, finds himself on the cusp of adolescence and adulthood. At school, as in life, many things seem to elude him, and tensions with his father are frequent. Sent to work in the mountains for the summer, he discovers a wild and free world, where nature sets its own pace. Up there, everything seems possible: the beauty of the landscapes, the warmth of the people he meets and the blossoming of his first love turn his whole world upside down.
