Synopsis
Senegal, Rwanda, Mozambique, Kenya, Ivory Coast and Burundi are the birthplaces of women who in Mohammed Soudani’s film represent the symbol of the rebirth of a continent torn apart by genocide, hunger and war. Society’s revenge is not a story of men, but of vanguard women who, despite pressures, obstacles and increasingly difficult challenges, recount their success in the failed history of the continent’s last 70 years.
